Jekyll and Hyde fanart rant.

I generally try to stay away from journals complaining about what I see on DA, but I have a serious problem with female versions of dr. Jekyll & mr. Hyde. Now the original book is one of my favourites, so every now and again I will search for fanart when I have nothing better to do. What I find is a unusually high percentage of prices that feature a female version of the duo. Generally I wouldn't have a problem with this; I think that the archetype could be adapted to either gender. Hell, one of my female characters was partially inspired by mr. Hyde. Last night I dreamt that the cell phone kiosk in the mall was having a promotion the if you traded in your iPhone you would immaculately conceive a Pokemon. Then you had to make decisions about things like whether or not you wanted an epidural or a c section of what have you, but if your Pokemon has claws you should probably go with the c section.  The moral here is: childbirth is scary, Pokemon are awesome, and iPhones really can do anything.

So I was sitting in bed painting an angsty picture of my original character whom I've shamelessly stolen from mythology, when I made a vital and life-changing mistake: I put a layer of red paint on over a layer that I was not satisfied with, therefore removing my abitity to continue refining it.
